At Limpsfield Junior School we recognise that for a child to do well in school there must be a successful partnership between the school and the parents or carers.
Homework allows learning to continue outside of the school gates and we provide updated information on our website about the curriculum. We hold termly parent partnership meetings that are intended to provide parents and carers with information about their child’s year group in regards to routines and expectations, as well as the curriculum.
We welcome your questions at these meetings, although if you want to talk specifically about your own child then please arrange a meeting after school with their class teacher. Mrs Slack, our learning mentor, holds informal coffee mornings during the year where again you can discuss school issues and if you feel that you want to speak to someone urgently then Mr Moss and Mr Allen are available during the school day and can be contacted through the school office.
We have three parents evenings a year that provide information about how well your child is doing in school and there is also a written report at the end of the academic year. You will also be invited to watch your child in a class assembly where they will showcase some of the work that they have been doing.
We would love you to come along to our Parent Partnership meetings.
See the times and dates here.
You will be very welcome!
